The Bull – not a bad place for a relaxing pint or two of real ale and a traditional English pub lunch.
The place was built in the early 1500’s and is dripping with history. Meals were pretty good as well – my mixed grill contained half of the available meat stock of England, including some tasty black puidding. Mmmmm. Did anyone mention mad cow disease?
On the way to the pub we drove through fields of lavender. I took this shot for my mum but the nature-lovers amongst you may enjoy it as well. If you click on the photo to get the full size view you may also note a bright red poppy field in the distance.
